The sixth WHITE release comes from “Edward”. Once again it is an artist EP, in order to get deeper insights of a WHITE artist’s work. The first track features a young talented singer by the name of “Sara Clark”. “In The Mood” reminds of Pink Floyd’s “The Great Gig in the Sky”. In few years there could be a whole generation begotten to the sound of Edward’s new A side… On the surface it is a dark piece about the trance as a state, beauty and love. Even if those words sounds like a true cliché in terms of electronic dance music. But in its very own way it is violent in its tenderness. Bittersweet to the deep ground. A reunion with final consequences… The flipside contains another highlight: “At the end of a tunnel” offers a good housy block party vibe (not the band). Euphoria with tears of joy… “It is all good in the end! The end titles roll, and I am still alive… ” you may think. While “Lissboa 07” is the dubby afterglow for later… “What have I done…” would be the classical question to ask… Interestingly this joint is co-produced by Edward’s dad “Arno Schäfer”. Also a DJ… All in all a true house classic, with tracks for every occasion of the night.
