Cross-eyed and self-confident, looking at three different floors at the same time
ItaloJohnson starts the new year punctual with his third stroke. This record will have something suitable on it for everyone out there. Without batting an eyelid, its crosseyed and selfconfident, looking at three different floors at the same time:
The A-side focuses on the Chicago house floor. It begins with a recognizable toolish sound. Slowly but surely the theme of the track opens – the track works through a breakdown, a classic drum roll sneaks in and Jack grabs again.
The B1 provides an unusual turn on the third ItaloJohnson production. There’s no space for compromises here. The track stomps on the Steam Engine Warehouse floor. A flowing acid hookline is settled in the industrial drumline and gives the track its meaning.
The second track on the flipside completes the whole package and is destined for the late night hours. Thats everything there is to say about this track – the strength and emotion can only be experienced by listening first hand.
